Top 10 Mistakes

Odds are pretty good the reason you can't get a job is NOT lack of skills or experience.  It is usually your credit report or credit score because employers seem to hold the opinion that good credit equals good employees which is normally the farthest thing from the truth.

You must be eligible to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy.  This is determined by the means test which is why we need your last 6 months worth of pay stubs, beginning with the month prior to your filing bankruptcy.  Generally speaking, if you earn less than $40,000.00 you qualify.

Chapter 7 is generally the simplest and quickest form of bankruptcy and is available to individuals and married couples as well as corporations and partnerships.  Usually most assets are exempt, therefore there are no assets to liquidate and there is no dividend paid to creditors.

Our Hours

Your schedules are where all of your assets, liabilities, income, and expenses must be listed.  The schedules also list your property, any debts secured by that property, and the sale value of the property. Property means all assets (possessions) - not just real estate.

Monday thru Friday
9:00 am thru 5:00 pm
Note:  our hours are flexible.

You must list ALL of your debts, even if you intend to reaffirm the debt (keep the property & continue making regular payments until the debt is paid in full). The court cannot discharge any debt that is not listed or did not get notice of your bankruptcy filing due to an incorrect address.

Other Services We Offer
Small Businesses

People commonly misconceive the effect filing for bankruptcy can have on their lives. They believe they will never be able to reestablish their credit, never get a credit card again, or never buy a house or a car but this is simply not true.

Most debtors can easily purchase homes & cars after they receive their discharge of debt because they clean up their credit reports (we'll show you how)  and then apply for a secured credit card thru a local credit union so they can reestablish their credit.
